Do not waste your time at any other spot- there is a reason this place has 5 stars. I have PCOS and YEARS of laser hair removal did not do jack squat for my unwanted hair, and nor did a YEAR at a different electrolysis spot!! Then enters Farha- who (aside from being very sweet and professional) checks EVERY. SINGLE. HAIR. before plucking to ensure it’s properly zapped and that the follicle is dead. I am not exaggerating when I say 1 session with her equaled a year+ at my prior place. I used to have to shave every single day for years, but 3 weeks after just my first session, and I’ve literally had to shave just once. I wish I’d realized sooner just how much results can vary when you’re the client of someone who takes pride in their work (and has knowledge of how to make sure your follicles are actually gonzo instead of just going through the motions). Side bar: Farha also uses a numbing cream for the painful spots that seriously reduces the pain.

before going to Moon Electrolysis, I had tried many different electrologists in the city but I was never truly satisfied with the results. I've been going to Moon Electrolysis for about a year now and Farha is beyond thorough and I always leave completely satisfied. She is efficient while also being gentle. Truly the best electrologist in New York!
